We ship most orders via UPS or USPS. Furniture, and orders too large for these carriers will ship via a freight carrier or white glove delivery service.
UPS and USPS rates will be calculated by size, weight, and proximity to our store in Arizona. Freight calculations will pull up on the checkout page.
Freight and white glove delivery will be calculated depending on time frame and availability of shippers to your area. Please contact us directly for shipping quotes for larger items. A pop up window will appear at checkout that will alert us to hold your items while a freight quote is obtained. We will contact you with a quote within 3 business days.
We ship to the 48 contiguous US states. For international orders, or orders to Alaska and Hawaii please contact us directly. All taxes and duties for international orders are the responsibility of the buyer.
Orders shipping outside of Arizona will be tax exempt. Arizona sales tax will have to be paid if shipping within Arizona, or for store pick up items. In store pick up: For local Arizona clients, in store pick up is an option for orders placed online! You may visit us at TDL during normal business hours to pick up your order. Please pick up all orders within 5 business days of your transaction. Please fill out the pop up window at checkout telling us what day to expect your pick up.
You will be emailed with a confirmation of your order after your transaction is complete. UPS and USPS orders will take up to 3 business days to be processed, and 2-5 business days to ship to your door. Larger items will take 5-7 business days to be processed and up to two weeks to ship.
We accept returns within 10 days of receipt of your order. Please contact us by phone or email to process your return. You may return items for any reason for a refund. Shipping both ways is the responsibility of the buyer.
If items arrive broken or mishandled, a claim with UPS or USPS must be initiated upon receipt.
We offer gift cards in any amount. We have attractive physical photo gift cards that can be sent to any recipient by USPS. If you prefer an email gift card, that can be done in addition, or instead of the physical card. Your recipient’s information will be saved in our system so that even if the gift card is lost, their amount gifted will be on file under their last name.
Please do sign up for our emails! Our local Arizona emails will let you know when we have exciting new containers arriving, or when we are having in-store parties and sales. Webshop emails will let you know when we are having online promotions, events, or fun things to share.
Most of our items are handmade by artisans and craftspeople in villages around the world. By nature they are imperfect, and we wouldn’t want them any other way. Please know that variations in finish and detail are part of what makes our goods special. Let us know if there are any concerns you have before placing your order, we would be happy to talk with you about the pieces you are considering.
We offer design services locally here in Arizona. Most design questions can be worked on in the shop. Bringing in images of the space you would like to transform in your home is a great way to get started. Our staff can help bring your space to life with new accessories, furniture and lighting. We do in home visits as well for larger jobs, and love to bring out truckloads of new goodies to transform Valley homes. If you are out of state and would like help with a space please feel free to email us at email@example.com and we will do our best to help find pieces for you that can be shipped.
Local Arizona shoppers are allowed to take our items out for up to four days “on approval.” If you are unsure whether or not pieces will work in your space, we can send things out on memo where we secure your order with a credit card (without running the sale,) and allow you to take things home to try them. If they work, you may call and have us run the sale, or bring the items back within four days and not be charged at all.
We have our own delivery truck and staff to safely deliver goods to your home if you live within 50 miles of the shop. Deliveries within 20 miles are $50, 20-30 miles are $80, and 30-50 miles are $100. Delivery charges are per trip, not per piece – so feel free to load up that truck! There are just a few pieces we sell that carry additional delivery fees, like when we have to hire additional delivery personnel to assist for extra large or heavy items. Examples of this are stone pieces, like our oversize lava stone Buddhas, triple arch colonnades, or our largest old door surround bookshelves.
