This small wooden cow toy is from Rajasthan in India.  Reflecting everyday life in northern India, these handmade figures are carved from a single piece of wood and reflect the sacred cows that roam every lane and field where children play.  This particular beauty is painted Brahmin blue and has remnants of old, multi colored metallic foils.
