Tuareg Leather Window Cover

From Morocco

Made from soft goat skin and dyed in earthy sun-baked tones, these long fringed pieces were originally used in the windows of desert tents to keep out dust and insects.  The Tuareg are traditionally a semi-nomadic Berber tribal group that reside in North Africa.

Hung on the wall as art, they have a rustic richness that sings desert tales.
